The story behind Dispan
Tarek grew up eating home-cooked meals every day.
His mom's food. His grandma's food. The kind of meal that tastes like someone made it specifically for you, because they did. When he moved from California to New York for college, he started cooking for himself. And the more he cooked, the more he loved it. And the more he loved it, the more he dreaded the pan waiting for him at the end of it.
That's when he asked himself a simple question: does a disposable stovetop pan exist?
It didn't. And after nearly a decade of engineering research, law school, and relentless trial and error, Tarek figured out why — and then figured out how to make it anyway.
